Service Description
Sewing School Senior Series at Suz Ras Sews is a continuation from the Junior Series - you do need to have completed the Freshmen, Sophomore and Junior series previously before continuing as a Senior. Senior class is a "build your own curriculum" series to delve into projects to allow students to determine what skills they still want to learn before "graduating" from Sewing School. Ideas are a "quick gifts" session where students can choose to make 2-3 projects from a variety of ideas that allow them to make great gifts for future gift giving opportunities. Some will choose to make a quilt over three of the four weeks. Students can bring ideas of a type of bag they'd like to learn to make (a denim bag, a large-scale tote, a duffle, a belt bag) or a bag of their imagination. This will be a collaboration of how students want to spend their last four weeks in class to further develop their sewing skills and creativity and each student can customize their Senior experience. As always, if you don't have a machine, let us know in the comments and we'll provide a Janome computerized machine for you to use in class. Join us and unlock your creative potential!
